At least it's not a kabob

Disclaimer:  Today I decided to go back to my usual film-esque, more vintage processing, especially for the last few pics, however wildly unpopular it might be.  I'm a rebel like that.

Friday started off with a tour of an industrial park in Anakara. We got tours of several different factories, and were even filmed for the news!  Two of us got interviewed on tv as well (not myself).

In the afternoon, we took a trip to the US Embassy.  It was a real trip to suddenly meet people who spoke American English, midwestern accent and all.  It honestly took me by surprise when the first person who greeted us said casually, "Hey, how's it goin'?"

Afterward, Ben & Raminder & Nick (hereafter known as BRN) and I went perfume shopping for Nick, and then walked around the streets until we had dinner at Burger King.  The fries were a little disturbingly highlighter-yellow, but at least it's not a kabob.

  1. I downright LOVE the second-to-last picture! It seems like it could have come from another era. Fantastic job!
