Sunday: Takism Square and the subway

After the tower, we decided to go to Taksim Square, which I consider a downtown, hip part of Istanbul.  It's really more of a rectangle, full of thousands of people, shops, restaurants, and vendors:

At the end of the night, we took the metro back.  Some of us raced up the stairs while the locals looked onwards from the escalator:

And Raminder took her 2nd trip on the subway.  This is the "Raminder" expression we see so often!
